Calvary Chapel Mission ViejoEvents
Here at Calvary Chapel Mission Viejo we value all age groups and want to adequately minister to each one in order to provide a Christ-centered community and ample growth in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The church will resume meeting in-person on Sunday mornings and will have seating available indoors and outdoors. Children’s Ministry is open for ages 2 through 6th grade. The Nursery will open on February 7th. If you can’t make it to the in-person service, you can watch the service online on our website at 10 am on Sunday mornings.
Please pray for those in our church family who are currently battling the virus and for our church as a whole that we would be protected not only physically, but spiritually, during this challenging year.

Q&A with Pastor Brian
Pastor Brian will be hosting a Zoom Questions and Answers session for the congregation. He will be fielding questions about the Pastoral transition and talking about some of his hopes and vision for CCMV. Join us on Thursday, January 21st at 6:30 pm on Zoom.
To register for this event, email Pastor Brian.
Gentlemen, on Saturday, January 30th, we will be having our first bi-monthly men’s breakfast of the new year. At each breakfast, we will have a topic of importance to discuss, either because it relates to our role and function as men or because of its significance in our culture. The topic at the upcoming breakfast will be justice.
Since this has been such a theme in our culture over the past number of months, we will take a look at what Scripture has to say about the topic. We’ll also talk about ways to practice justice in ways consistent with biblical mandates. We’ll be meeting outside so bring a chair. Cost is $5 and includes a continental style breakfast. The timeframe is 8-10 am.
Questions? Contact Pastor Brian.
Farewell Service for the Millers
The last Sunday that Pastor Rob and Karen will be at CCMV is January 31st. After the service, there will be a luncheon outside so we can have some extended fellowship with them. Included will be a time to share thanks and memories with the Millers.
To make things as simple as possible in this latest Covid spike, we are asking people to bring their own lunch that day. We’ll then gather outside to eat and fellowship.
Also, feel free to bring cards with expressions of thanks to Pastor Rob and Karen any Sunday this month. There will be a basket available in the lobby for those to be dropped off. Also, bring in any pictures you want to be included in a photo album that we can hand off to them.
