The first-hour class will begin again as we take a look at biblical paradoxes. How do we, for example, understand the biblical perspective on subjects like freedom and slavery, self-worth and selflessness, God’s sovereignty and man’s freedom. From Sep. 29 to Nov. 3, the class will meet in the youth room at 9 a.m. (meaning adults and youth together). After Nov. 3, the adults will continue, but in room 205.

It’s that time of year again! Operation Christmas Child has arrived at Calvary Chapel Mission Viejo. Make sure to pick up your box in the foyer so you can bless a child in another country. This is such a great opportunity for family time! Please make sure to have filled boxes dropped off to church on Sunday, November 3rd.

When people are suffering, how can we relate to them in ways that will ease their pain and show we care, instead of adding to their burden? Join us, on Nov. 16th for a morning of discussion on how to support, encourage, and love those who are hurting or experiencing grief. Childcare is available with registration only. Questions? Contact Karen.

Our church will be serving at His Nesting Place, a home for mom’s with crisis pregnancies. His Nesting place is one of the largest extended pregnancy care facilities in So Cal.

We need volunteers to help lay flooring in various rooms, demo a garden gazebo, clean, organize and paint. All ages and skillsets are needed so please join us Friday, November 29th.  We will meet at the church at 7 am and carpool up to His Nesting place in Long Beach.

Let us know what skills you have or projects you want to work on. Click the button below and register today!

Over Thanksgiving weekend there will be two service options available. One is the annual trip to Ensenada, Mexico to work with our church connection there. This group will leave early on Thanksgiving morning and return on Sunday. The team is in need of decorative cookies, women’s toiletries, and cooked and sliced turkeys to take down to Mexico.

If interested, please contact Norm Hester or Christina Harper

Join us on Saturday, December 7th, as we kick off the holiday season with our annual Women’s Christmas Breakfast. Wonderful food, worship, a heartfelt message to usher in this special time of year, and a raffle of wonderful gift baskets and handmade items, all to benefit scholarships for women’s events. Childcare is available. Questions? Contact Karen.
