I am so excited for our next As We Gather Event in which we will partake of a docent-led tour of the Helena Modjeska Historic House and Gardens located in Silverado Canyon. This is a very popular tour and spots will go quickly. Reservations will need to be in by June 16th.

For this tour we will meet at the church parking lot at 9:15 to carpool to the home located in Silverado Canyon (approximately 25 minute journey). Carpooling is imperative as the parking is very limited.

The docent led tour of the historic house and gardens will begin at 10 a.m sharp the entry fee is $5, please plan on bringing cash as this will help to expedite our entry. This walking tour will take us through the years Madame Modjeska resided in her canyon home and along the rock-lined pathways of what she so fondly called the Forest of Arden. Tours are approximately 1 1/2 hours.

After the tour we will have lunch together at a local eatery. The return time to church of 2:15 is approximate, your flexibility is always appreciated.

Reservations for the tour are required and very limited. Please RSVP no later than June 16th for this event. Due to the limited number of spots available we will not be able to accept drop in guests (unless of course someone drops out but that will be most unlikely) and the option of a self drive to location is not permitted as there is very limited parking as well.

SO DON’T DELAY THE SPOTS AVAILABLE WILL GO QUICKLY, RSVP CLOSES JUNE 16th.

Side Note: In the past I have had the privilege of orchestrating a group of ladies from our church attend this tour and there was nothing but positive rave reviews.
